Right To Education
The current lockdown is affecting every arena, and education is one of the most affected domains. To minimise this impact, some online educational platforms are offering free premium access to content and live streaming of classes to make this lockdown an enriching experience for students. Here’s a list!
1. Byju’s
One of the most popular learning apps for kids, Byju’s app allows your kids to learn all high-school foundation subjects (for state boards, ICSE and CBSE), from class 4-12 including Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Along with this, it also helps students prepare for competitive exams including IIT-JEE, AIPMT and CAT. The app boasts of an adaptive user interface, interactive learning, tests and quizzes and learning analysis that helps monitor the improvement of students over time. And the best part is that Byju’s is providing free access for class 1-12 students till the end of April.
2. Testbook
That one platform which will prepare you for pretty much any competitive exam, we love Testbook simply for the variety of courses it offers. Whether you’re looking to get into banking or defence, engineering or civil services; they have courses for everything! And Testbook is giving you free access to their courses till the 31st of March to help students fight this quarantine and come out of it with flying colours!3. Vedantu
4. Toppr
A great way to start your kid off on the path of competitive examinations, Toppr covers the entire spectrum of medical and engineering entrance examinations. Not only this, the app also teaches you all the school subjects including history, geography, science and english. Notes, important questions and previous year question sets; Toppr has it all! And even though their video content has always been free, Toppr has now made all its services completely free for students from class 5 to 12.
5. Lido Learning
With interactive classes, personal attention and engaging content; Lido Learning is a great platform for students from classes 5-8 for learning science and maths. The app offers personalized classes that boast of a very low student-teacher ratio to ensure focused attention on every student. In the wake of the current lock down, Lido Learning is extending their free trial period to 14 days so that maximum students can benefit from their classes for free. So, sign up already!
